Memory box holds a firefighters special keepsakes. It can be given either as a gift of appreciation or as an in memory gift. Top of lid has a special design with the words Remember and Honor, plus this verse: its impossible to measure the courage it takes to put yourself in the path of danger, the love it takes to sacrifice your life for another, the gratitude and respect our hearts hold for you. Outside of box has a rustic wood appearance and matte feel. Hinged lid opens to show a holder underneath for your own 6x4 photo. Inner compartment is 8 7/8x8 7/8x4, allowing box to hold a variety of small items. Overall outer box size, with lid closed, is 9 3/8x9 3/8x5. Box is MDF wood. Poem is by Lisa O.
