I absolutely love raku-fired pottery. Since I don��_�t own a kiln, nor am I a pottery artist, trying to capture the essence of them in a painting was my goal. Each of the the paintings are on 20��_ x 20" x 1.5" museum-quality gallery wrapped canvas. I used steel grey, black and white colored acrylic paint only, mixing them to achieve an elegant color and feeling. The texture is created with acrylic mediums.Note: Frame not included
