Description

This panorama captures the South Carolina Gamecocks on their home turf at Williams-Brice Stadium battling the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Gamecocks and Razorbacks have a long-standing history, having met annually from 1992 when both teams joined the SEC, through the 2013 season. Among many traditions that define South Carolina football, the Gamecocks make a crowd-thrilling entrance ahead of every home game to the introduction of Also Sprach Zarathustra, also known as the theme song from 2001: A Space Odyssey. The tradition was started by Coach Joe Morrison with his first game in 1983 and has become well known to fans as one the greatest entrances in college football.
