Carved from olive wood stumps dug up in field preparation, this small bowl with a spoon is handcarved in Central Kenya by the workers in the field for extra income. The shape of each salt pot is unique, and they measure approximately 3-inches to 4-inches in diameter.
Each one is handcarved using rudimentary hand-tools. Often, the marks of the carving tools used are visible, adding to the unique, handmade beauty of each piece.
Periodically treat with a food-grade mineral or olive oil to bring out the luster and beauty of the wood grain.
Handwash only, and dry completely.
