This era during which Louis XV decorated the petit appartement du roi was significant in the evolution of French decorative styles of the 18th century. The finial Louis XV was inspired by the Renaissance period and dates back to the late 18th century. Art Décor still produces this brass finial in Europe with historic molds from our archives. Each finial is poured with real molten brass into a casting and then hand polished and plated to perfection. The brass tubes are of a larger diameter to demand respect in a sophisticated décor. Please note this product cannot be compared to any adjustable knock off and is only meant for designers of discerning tastes.
Kits include two finials, pure brass rods and brass supports.
Rodding is 1 1/2 inch in diameter and is hand polished and lacquered.
Supports are made of real brass and when held in your hand their weight will impress.
Supports project 5 inches from wall to pole and the back plate requires 2 3/8 inches of clearance.
The Louis XV finial is 4 3/4 inches long with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches.

Brass products are all lacquered and need to be cleaned only with a dry cloth. Never use chemicals
