Our Jayden Bed come with four slats with multiple adjustable support legs and requires a box spring and mattress, Not Included. Many of our competitors only have three slats which is not enough support when you consider that the bulk of our weight is in the torso, it only makes since to add an extra slat in the middle. We also use 6" side rails brackets for maximum support, our headboards will not rack. We use solid wood legs on all beds, no plastic. Also, our tapered legs feature a wood dowel to insure that the legs are attached correctly and also prevents them from spinning. All decorative nails used on our beds are individual, we do not use strip nails. Notice that our headboards are one piece, not detachable long extension legs that have to be assembled. Our Beds have been specifically engineered to offer you the most stable and durable plaform available. This cost a little more, but it''s well worth the benefit of having a top quality bed.
