Description

This panorama of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway was taken by Christopher Gjevr. Constructed in 1960 on a parcel of land that was once a 100 acre dairy farm, today it is home to some of the best racing entertainment in the natio. With its famous high-banked half-mile track, Bristol is the fastest of the short tracks and drivers must bring a setup that allows the car to roll through the turn. In addition to its other distinct features, Bristol now boasts the worlds largest outdoor center-hung video screen, which takes racing entertainment to a whole new level.
