It can be washed in a home washing machine without an agitator, depending on the size. Any rug size 5'' x 7''6" or smaller, including all runners, can fit into a washing machine that�s 3.4 cubic feet or bigger; 6'' x 9'' rugs require a washer that�s 4.2 cubic feet or bigger, 7''6" x 9''6" rugs require a washer that�s 4.8 cubic feet or bigger, 9'' x 12'' rugs must be washed in a commercial washer with at least a 60-lb capacity. Wash in cold water, delicate cycle, with mild detergent, and no bleach, hang dry or lay flat to dry.
